Iceland had been high on our bucket list for years, and it didn’t disappoint. From Reykjavik’s colourful streets and steaming geothermal spas to thunderous waterfalls, black sand beaches, and glacier-covered volcanoes, every moment felt like stepping into another world.

Our trip blended adventure with awe, hiking on ancient ice, soaking in the Blue Lagoon, and chasing lava flows in an indoor volcano show. But it was also about quiet moments. Good food. Kind people. Stillness.

We left windblown, wide-eyed, and a little in love with this strange, beautiful island at the edge of the world.
